What is the difference between complete Shower Faucets and a Trim Kits:
If a product marked as "TRIM", it means that the item contains only external parts mounting on surfaces. A rough-in valve is not included in it. A shower rough-in valve usually is made of solid brass. It connects water pipes and a shower trim, allowing water mix and transfer. A shower valve is an absolutely required part to complete shower faucet installation. If a shower faucet is sold like a trim kit, recommended valve's model numbers can be found in shower trim's specification list.
